Viacom to use Yahoo! for ad platform
NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- Viacom Inc. (VIA) and Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) signed a multiyear agreement under which Yahoo will provide search-marketing and Web-search services to Viacom's online properties such as CBSNews.com and MTV.com.
Viacom said in a press release Tuesday it will use Yahoo's search-marketing products to enhance its sites with relevant advertising and use Yahoo's search engine to return more comprehensive search results to users.
